Welcome all to the new GTA blog covering the creative world of THEGTACOLLECTIVE. I’ll be posting new missives every few weeks and will be offering free new music and videos as well as musings on travel photography fashion and stuff I like.
…LA. At last back in LA after over a month travelling in Europe with stops in London, Ibiza, the Cote d’Azur, Monaco, and finally beautiful West Sussex. Since spending more time in the US I look now with foreign eyes at places I used to call home. Most striking is how incredibly expensive Europe is. It’s easy to spend $100 a day in London just on taxis. Dinner for two at an average London restaurant is $400. Driving a car into London and parking overnight would cost $150. My hotel room in France cost $1500 per night, for a room that would cost $300 tops anywhere in the US. And the service sucks! How do people afford these crazy prices?
